Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Work Location: Remote If you love travel and enjoy helping people turn an idea into an actual trip, this could be a great opportunity. 3 Dots is looking for a Remote Travel Advisor to help clients plan and book customized vacations, cruises, hotels, airfare, transportation, activities and experiences. You'll work with clients to understand what they're looking for, research the best options and help coordinate the details from planning through booking. Travel industry experience is a plus, but it is not required. We welcome applicants with strong customer service, hospitality, sales, event planning, reservations or travel-planning backgrounds. What You'll Do • Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests and budgets • Research and recommend destinations, hotels, resorts, cruises and vacation packages • Assist with airfare, hotels, car rentals, activities, tours and other travel arrangements • Help plan domestic and international vacations • Research concerts, sporting events and other entertainment experiences when requested • Create organized travel plans and itineraries • Compare options and make recommendations based on each client's needs • Manage reservation details and special requests • Communicate with clients throughout the planning process • Stay current on destinations, travel options and experiences • Provide a high level of personalized customer service Ideal Background The ideal candidate may have experience in: • Travel advising or travel planning • Hospitality or hotels • Cruises or vacation sales • Customer service • Event planning • Reservations • Entertainment or ticketing • Sales or client relations • Concierge services • Administrative or coordination roles However, we are also interested in people who have strong organizational and customer-service skills and are eager to learn the travel industry.
