Local Team Collaboration:
- Become a part of a close-knit team of 16 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners with the support of a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.
- We meet monthly for team meetings and internal staff meetings. These are intended to update the team on hospital or group initiatives, discuss barriers, and highlight providers making a difference.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible physician assistant.
- Prior Hospitalist experience encouraged.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Full-time admissions position. This is a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. Shifts are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admissions.
- The physician assistant works independently alongside our physicians.
- No procedures are required in this role.
- Utilize the electronic records system (EMR).
