Overview In this role you drive revenue growth for all MBM practice specialisms in the US, aligning local initiatives with the global MBM strategy. You lead a small sales team, manage opportunity pipelines, and partner with marketing and other stakeholders to create demand and win large clients. You act as the face of MBM US at events and maintain cross-divisional relationships to embed solutions across the business. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution to scale growth and strengthen client outcomes.

Responsibilities- Lead US Sales and manage a small team of business development specialists across MBM, focusing on cross-selling to US-headquartered clients and potentially direct/partner sales.
- Oversee annual sales planning, translating global MBM strategy to local and US-specific actions.
- Coordinate with MBM and US marketing to ensure events and campaigns align with regional activity.
- Collaborate with the Sales Enablement Team to keep sales efforts aligned with goals.
- Maintain active pipe management and enforce discipline to meet annual targets; drive sales process efficiency.
- Provide regular MBM leadership updates on pipeline and near-close opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with MBM BU leaders for smooth transfer of wins to specialist teams; coordinate with US Regional leaders for joint bid scenarios.
- Monitor competitor feedback in bids to inform SME positioning and market responsiveness.
- Promote solution selling with a client-centric focus and report on MBM sales analytics to improve win cadence.
- Support and develop staff involved in new client sales; contribute to MBM Academy for regional connectivity and talent growth.
- Represent MBM US at client engagements, Gallagher events, and industry speaking opportunities.
- Build and maintain interdivision/intercompany relationships aligned with corporate culture and lead initiatives with Practice Leader and Global Growth Leader.
- Lead growth initiatives with existing MBM clients (Key/Large Multinationals) by establishing primary client relationships and clear engagement plans.
- Create engagement cadences and rules across propositions; be the escalation point for sales process issues and feedback to BU/proposition leaders.
- Lead campaign leverage for assigned clients and support identifying GPSF opportunities and speaking engagements.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years related experience required OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years experience
- Life & Health and/or Property & Casualty insurance licenses
- Preferred: professional designation CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM.
