Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Conduct inpatient rounding
- Evaluate and manage OB/GYN emergency department consults
- Provide support for clinic emergencies or complex cases when requested by the advanced practice provider
- Practice independently while collaborating with the clinical care team
- Document patient care in Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active South Carolina medical license
- South Carolina Controlled Substance Registration
- Active DEA registration
- Comfortable with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
- Must complete required half-day orientation prior to the first scheduled shift
