Key Responsibilities:
- On-Call Coverage:
- Provide on-call coverage for a 16-bed inpatient unit, ensuring timely and expert care for obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
- Handle an average of 2 patients per shift, with the potential for unassigned patient rounding as needed.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) and MedHost EMR systems for all patient documentation and records management.
- Patient Care:
- Address both routine and emergency OB/GYN cases, including labor and delivery, surgical interventions, and postpartum care.
- Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Be prepared to respond to emergencies during allowed holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
- Certification and Licensing:
- Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- A Tennessee medical license is required, with the possibility of reimbursement for licensing costs.
- Temporary privileges are available for candidates with a clean background, ensuring a swift start.

- Board Certification: Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
