Job Details:
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Call Requirements: None
- Caseload:
- 25-35 surgical cases per day
- Optional additional 10 cytologies
- Optional 3 to 10 bone marrow and flow cytometry cases per day
- Not responsible for blood bank or grossing own specimens
- No cutting frozen sections on the cryostat
- Patient Interaction: No involvement with residents in surgical cases
Staff Support:
- Physicians: 2 physicians on-site alongside locums
- Histotechnologists: 8
- Pathology Assistants: 1
- Cytotechnologists: 2
Certifications Required:
- Board Certification: Required; fellowship preferred
- State License: Pennsylvania
- Laboratory Certifications: CLIA, CAP, PA State, FDA, AABB
