We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for an 85-day assignment in Oregon. The schedule typically runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm, where you will provide comprehensive eye examinations for adult and pediatric patients, diagnose and manage a broad range of medical and ocular conditions, perform contact lens evaluations and fittings, conduct minor in-office procedures, and co-manage surgical patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive eye examinations for adult and pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical and ocular conditions.
- Perform contact lens evaluations and fittings.
- Perform minor in-office procedures, including bump/removal procedures when qualified.
- Evaluate and manage patients with medical eye conditions.
- Co-manage surgical patients in coordination with ophthalmologists and other providers.
- Provide pre- and post-operative eye care as appropriate.
- Manage approximately 3040 patient visits per day with scribe support.
- Provide care across multiple clinic locations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff; Spanish-language proficiency is preferred.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Collaborate with ophthalmology and other members of the care team to ensure continuity of patient care.
