Job description

  • Dates: ASAP; Ongoing, dedicated 2 weeks/month.
  • Coverage weeks (2026): Jul 6-12; Aug 3-10; Aug 31-Sep 7; Sep 28-Oct 5; Oct 26-Nov 2; Nov 23-30.
  • Blocks: Full weeks only; must cover 7-14 consecutive days (no half weeks).
  • Rounding: Mon-Sun, 8a-5p in-house (approx. 8 hrs/day).
  • Call: Mon-Mon, 7a-7a.
  • Setting: Inpatient GI service; Department beds: 99; Trauma level: 4
  • Patient volume: 15 encounters per shift.
  • Procedures (must): ERCP and EUS.
  • Certifications: BC, GI fellowship preferred, NM license, DEA, ERCP, EUS, NM board of pharmacy, ACL, BLS
  • Ability to cover full 7-14 day blocks for listed weeks.
  • 100% clean background (required for temporary privileges).
  • Estimated credentialing time: 90 days; Temporary privileges available
