Responsibilities- Lead cost management teams and ensure delivery across complex construction programs
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants across all project stages
- Perform quantity surveying, cost control, and change management across full project lifecycles
- Coordinate with general contractors and external stakeholders, ensuring integration within the construction process
- Oversee delivery of Cost Management and Project Controls across various project types and sectors
- Primary point of contact for reporting on commercial status of projects and programs
- Promote best practices and identify opportunities to improve procedures, templates, and tools
- Manage staff performance, career development, and team growth
- Set strategy aligned with client and business objectives and ensure alignment with company objectives
- Maintain internal systems to track margins, fee forecasts, and resource planning
- Lead internal BMS audits and coordinate external audits with authorities
- Build market understanding, act as brand ambassador, and develop pipeline of opportunities
- Support proposal development and RFP responses
- Foster a collaborative culture balancing outcomes for people, clients, stakeholders, and society
- SOX control responsibilities may apply where relevant
Key requirements- 8+ years of relevant cost management experience in construction, including commercial real estate
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- RICS certification or working toward accreditation preferred
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field; graduate degree preferred
