Overview In this role you will contribute to the Small & Mid Cap Consumer Internet equity research footprint within Wells Fargo Markets. You will analyze company financials and industry data, build and maintain models, and collaborate with Senior Analysts to produce differentiated research. You will engage with covered companies and industry contacts, communicate conclusions clearly, and support cross sector content with peers. The position blends rigorous analysis with regulatory awareness in a high visibility research function.

Responsibilities- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in the Small & Mid Cap Consumer Internet sector and industry dynamics
- Analyze financial statements and market data to inform research
- Create and update financial models and databases
- Author differentiated research content with Senior Analyst on companies and themes
- Attend company and industry events and cultivate relationships with covered companies and contacts
- Communicate research conclusions to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with research peers to support cross-sector research content
- Exercise independent judgment while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Key requirements- 2+ years of Securities Research experience or equivalent
- BS/BA or higher
- Direct experience in the Small & Mid Cap Consumer Internet sector or prior equity research coverage in this industry
- Ability to work effectively in a team with flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis
- Knowledge of accounting principles in the capital markets industry
- Knowledge of Bloomberg or FactSet applications
