Overview In this role you will shape enterprise-scale platforms for Schwab's Workplace Services. You'll collaborate with engineers, architects, product partners, and stakeholders to guide technical direction, modernize critical systems, and improve stability, performance, and user experiences at scale. You'll apply enterprise architecture, AI-enabled tooling, and modern web and API technologies to deliver secure, high-quality solutions that drive business growth. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on architecture, platform modernization, and influencing cross-functional teams.

- Lead modernization of critical systems and integrations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product partners, and stakeholders to influence technical direction
- Deliver secure, high-quality solutions with performance and resilience
- Improve platform stability, scalability, and customer experience at scale
- Evaluate and apply AI technologies and AI-enabled developer tools
Key requirements- Expertise in Enterprise Architecture/System Design for high-volume enterprise apps
- Proficiency with C#/.NET Core for building and modernizing enterprise apps
- Experience applying AI technologies to improve engineering productivity and software quality
- Exposure to Angular/TypeScript for modern web UIs
- RESTful API development for secure, scalable integrations
- Strong SQL/Relational DB development for transactions and data aggregation
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (preferred)
- Experience with modern authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth 2, SAML, JWT) (preferred)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery (preferred)
