Senior Project Engineer, Water

In this role you will lead medium to large water and wastewater projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction. You will engage clients, coordinate project activities, and ensure technical quality, schedules, and budgets. Your work supports sustainable water management and compliance within municipalities and industry. • Lead planning, design, and construction administration for municipal and industrial water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Coordinate client interactions, deliver presentations, and manage project activities.
• Direct technical staff and consultants; develop study and design standards; run progress meetings; track schedules and budgets.
• Interface with municipalities and regulatory agencies; oversee permits and compliance.
• Oversee construction contract management and observation services.
• Prepare technical reports and permit applications; mentor junior engineers; develop professional writing and communication skills.
• Stay active in the water/wastewater industry through conferences and events.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 8-15 years in water/wastewater design and project execution
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Progressive experience in evaluation, design, permitting, and construction administration of water/wastewater facilities
• Proven project management with budget and schedule control
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client presentation experience
