Overview

In this role you will drive growth for Takeoff by IXL by introducing the new math core curriculum to schools, partners, and districts. You will collaborate with K-12 field sales teams to strategize, present, and execute adoption in your region, leveraging product knowledge to meet customer needs. You'll deliver impactful presentations to educators and stay ahead of market trends, supporting state and local adoptions. This remote role centers on building relationships, accelerating curriculum adoption, and shaping the future of IXL's core math program.

  • base salary $80,000-$105,000

Responsibilities
  • Introduce Takeoff by IXL to new and existing customers
  • Collaborate with K-12 field sales management and reps to strategize, present, and execute core curriculum in your region
  • Develop understanding of customer needs to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process and adoption cycle
  • Leverage market and product knowledge to increase sales
  • Deliver effective presentations to educators including administrators and teachers
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of all IXL products
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends
  • Partner with sales reps to prospect district and state departments
  • Prepare for state and local adoptions
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of EdTech sales experience
  • Prior experience selling K-12 core curriculum
  • 5+ years of teaching and/or school administrative experience
  • Background in Math, teaching and sales preferred
  • Prior core curriculum adoption experience
  • Exceptional presentation and conversational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with educational technology
  • Passion for bringing technology into the classroom
  • Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel up to 85% of the time
  • Must live within 45 minutes of a major airport
