Overview

As Electrical Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Hardware Engineering team, you help power missiles, sensors and critical subsystems. You act as the primary technical liaison for PAC-3 electronics and drive root-cause investigations, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet schedule, budget, and contract requirements. You will present issues to program leadership and ensure technical data and supplier activities stay on track. This role blends hardware design, integration, and risk-based decision making in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main technical contact for PAC-3 electronic hardware across development and production
  • Lead root-cause investigations and define corrective actions with clear dispositions
  • Present technical issues and status updates to program leadership and SHIELD as needed
  • Coordinate activities to clear DD250 constraints between production sites and program
  • Manage updates to Technical Data Package, propose changes, and present to change-review boards
  • Oversee supplier activities, evaluate proposals for technical compliance, and monitor subcontractor performance
  • Execute Engineering Change and Material Review Board processes including non-conformance assessments
  • Support obsolescence planning to maintain long-term product viability
  • Conduct risk assessments, trade studies, and recommend technical solutions
  • Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, test, quality, and logistics teams to resolve constraints
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote an inclusive, collaborative team culture
Key requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 5 years of experience; or 3 years with related Masters
  • Troubleshooting analog and digital electronics
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMM, signal generators, spectrum analyzers
  • Domestic travel 10%
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
