Overview In this role you will support Snowflake's litigation and dispute matters from assessment to resolution, advising on risk and improving processes for scalable litigation management. You will collaborate with the legal team, outside counsel, and cross-functional partners to protect the business and streamline workflows. Based in Menlo Park, CA or Atlanta, GA, you will shape how the legal function operates in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities- Support disputes and litigation matters across their lifecycle from assessment to resolution
- Review and advise on litigation-related contractual provisions (dispute resolution, governing law, venue, arbitration, liability limits, indemnification)
- Coordinate responses to subpoenas, garnishments, and government/enforcement requests
- Advise on litigation risks to business stakeholders and propose practical, business-oriented solutions
- Support bankruptcy-related matters (claims, adversary proceedings, creditor inquiries)
- Assist with internal investigations coordinating with People, Security, and other functions
- Partner with outside counsel on discovery, motion practice, and litigation strategy
- Develop and improve scalable processes for handling litigation (holds, tracking, document management)
- Maintain internal resources, templates, and playbooks for consistent litigation management
Key requirements- JD from an accredited law school
- Active membership in at least one state bar and ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience with substantive litigation in a law firm or in-house
- Familiarity with commercial disputes and contractual dispute resolution; bankruptcy exposure a plus
- Experience managing or supporting responses to subpoenas and government inquiries preferred
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain language
