Overview As a Senior/Staff Product Manager at Semgrep, you will own a product area and steer its vision, strategy, and commercial success. You'll work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to shape the roadmap and prioritize impact. You'll help expand the Application Security platform into new market segments while maintaining a fast-paced, iterative culture. You'll influence product excellence through collaboration with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success, driving measurable value. Responsibilities- Own and execute the vision and strategy for a product area, delivering value to users and the business
- Drive the commercial success of your product area
- Engage with customers and prospects to understand problems and influence roadmap
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to define positioning and messaging
- Coordinate with Customer Success and Product Marketing to manage releases and feedback
- Partner with Engineering and Product Design to ensure product quality and user experience
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to iteration
- Use data (quantitative and qualitative) to measure success and identify improvements
- Contribute to the culture and growth of the product team
- Support cross-functional alignment across marketing, sales, and CS
Key requirements- 5+ years of product management for software products from inception to launch
- Experience owning a product line end-to-end and accountable for its success
- Experience building products for engineering personas
- Ability to translate complex user needs into pragmatic solutions
- Experience in growth-stage or fast-paced environments and rapid iteration
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
- Preferred: prior engineering experience or ability to code (even if rusty)
