Overview As a Project Engineer at AECOM, you support the delivery of complex data center construction projects from planning through execution. You collaborate with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to coordinate subcontractors, monitor schedules, and enforce safety and quality standards. You help translate design intent into compliant field work, track progress, and maintain project documentation. Responsibilities- Assist with planning and coordination of subcontractor activities
- Monitor subcontractor work to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards
- Review manpower, material, and equipment requirements with the supervising team
- Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance on site
- Assist with progress reporting and maintaining project logs and records
- Monitor work performance against CPM schedules, work sequences, and resource usage
- Interface with client, architect, and design professionals to ensure design intent and satisfaction
- Foster communication between field management, management, estimating, procurement, and contractors to ensure project alignment and timely completion
- Support continuous professional knowledge development and team productivity
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Preferred: Bachelor's in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering; 4+ years of relevant experience; prior data center experience; industry certifications such as EIT or PE
