Overview As Business Developer, you work to strengthen BrightView's market position and drive profitable growth. You will manage the full sales cycle, nurture key client relationships, and identify opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You'll forecast KPIs, conduct consultative selling, and lead negotiations to close deals. This role places you at the center of shaping business opportunities and responding to bids across a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities- Prospect and qualify opportunities through consultative selling
- Forecast sales deliverables and KPI performance
- Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including bid responses
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with decision-makers
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations; negotiate contracts
- Maintain CRM activity (Salesforce) and ensure accurate pipeline management
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and marketing to meet sales targets
- Work independently in a fast-paced setting with strong time management
- Travel as required to meet with clients and work sites
- Plan daily activities to meet benchmarks and drive closures
- Maintain professional, solution-focused communication with customers and stakeholders
Key requirements- 3-5 years of B2B selling experience at mid-to-senior levels
- Extensive experience managing multiple projects across a large territory
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with a CRM or SFA tool (Salesforce mentioned)
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and pipeline management
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, highly competitive
- Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred
- Experience in service industry with commercial contract sales desirable
