Overview

In this role you will lead high-impact, donor-focused events and initiatives that bridge elite event production with major gift development. You will manage signature events, salons, and board engagements, ensuring premium guest experiences and strategic donor stewardship. You will collaborate across Communications, Programs, and Finance to align messaging, budgets, and outcomes with fundraising goals. Your work drives moves management and enduring relationships with high-net-worth supporters to advance the organization's philanthropy mission. This position offers a chance to shape iconic experiences and elevate donor involvement at USC Arcadia Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Concept and lead salon-style intimate gatherings to build relationships
  • Oversee signature events and the donor-centric run-of-show, from logistics to guest experience
  • Serve as primary development liaison for board meetings and leadership coordination
  • Lead committees focused on special initiatives or event sponsorship goals
  • Move attendees into major gift pipelines through rapid, personalized follow-up and discovery visits
  • Collaborate with marketing to create bespoke materials and impact reports for high-net-worth individuals
  • Develop and manage budgets for each signature event and salon to maximize ROE
  • Evaluate vendor bids to balance elite quality with fiscal responsibility
  • Provide real-time revenue tracking and tax receipting
  • Prepare detailed project timelines (6-12 months) with milestone clarity
  • Identify risks and develop contingency plans for seamless execution
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure accurate messaging and supported logistics
  • Prepare briefing memos with guest bios and moves-management goals
  • Oversee the premium look and feel of events, including invitations and room atmosphere
  • Maintain CRM data integrity for guest interactions and follow-ups within 48 hours
Key requirements
  • 5-7 years of fundraising experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
