Overview As Lean Six Sigma Consultant based in the VNS office, you drive end-to-end process improvements across clinical and administrative workflows in a healthcare system. You lead DMAIC and Kaizen initiatives, map current-state value streams, and perform root-cause analysis to reduce wait times and costs while elevating quality of care. You collaborate with hospital leadership and frontline staff to sustain gains through robust metrics and visual controls.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end Lean Six Sigma initiatives using DMAIC/Kaizen frameworks
- Map current-state workflows to identify waste and bottlenecks
- Conduct root-cause analysis with tools like Minitab and quality diagrams
- Establish control plans, KPIs, and visual management for sustainability
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with clinical leaders and executives
- Design and deliver LSS training sessions and improvement workshops for staff
Key requirements- 10+ years Lean Six Sigma experience in healthcare
- Proven ability to lead Black Belt/Green Belt level projects
- Proficiency in DMAIC and Kaizen methodologies
- Experience with value stream mapping and root-cause analysis
- Familiarity with Minitab, Fishbone, Pareto charts, FMEA
