Overview

In this role, you will manage a complex Mid-Corporate credit portfolio within Middle Market Banking to support loan structuring and risk-aware decision making. You will partner with portfolio management and relationship managers to originate, monitor, and grow Mid-Corporate relationships while upholding credit policies and compliance. You will assess financials, perform risk analysis, and contribute to underwriting with independent judgment. This position offers a hybrid schedule and the chance to develop under experienced mentors in a risk-conscious, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex credit portfolio for Mid-Corporate clients
  • Support financial modeling, projections, and risk analysis for loan structuring
  • Assist in credit underwriting with consideration of all risk factors and provide risk rating recommendations
  • Present recommendations for complex credit situations and exercise independent judgment
  • Collaborate with Mid Corporate Portfolio Management, relationship managers, and credit approvers to originate, monitor and grow relationships
  • Handle underwriting and origination, portfolio monitoring, renewals, and annual reviews
  • Ensure portfolio adherence to credit policies and compliance requirements
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management experience or equivalent
  • Underwriting experience
  • Knowledge of debt and equity capital markets
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data
  • Commercial financial statement analysis proficiency
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel for financial analysis
  • BS/BA degree or higher
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Professional presentation to decision makers and customers
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage relationships

  • Excel financial projection modeling
