Senior Cost Estimator

As a Senior Cost Estimator at AECOM, you will turn hurricane damage assessments into sound repair decisions for federal facilities in Kauai. You'll develop and test estimates amid evolving site information, explaining how access, logistics, and schedule affect cost. Your work provides project leaders with a defensible basis for comparing options and managing changes as repairs progress. This onsite role supports critical infrastructure restoration with per diem eligibility.

• Lead the preparation of conceptual, detailed, and independent cost estimates for facility and infrastructure repairs
• Create quantity takeoffs and pricing analyses for labor, equipment, and subcontractors
• Assess scope, schedule, access, logistics, escalation, and contingency impacts on cost
• Review drawings, field reports, repair narratives, and proposals for cost completeness
• Document estimate bases, assumptions, exclusions, risks, and version changes
• Coordinate with engineers, construction managers, schedulers, and subcontractors to validate scope and pricing

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in developing construction cost estimates for complex facilities or infrastructure projects
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
• US Citizenship required
