Overview

In this role you drive imaging services operations and ensure regulatory compliance across the local market. You will lead cross-functional collaboration to maintain safety standards, report performance to leadership, and support capital planning and procurement. You'll coach teams, manage budgets, and mentor staff while shaping continuous quality improvements. This position offers impact through overseeing imaging capital equipment and service quality in a complex clinical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Designs and directs daily Imaging operations, repair workflows, and urgent service resolution.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with radiation safety and regulatory guidelines through cross-functional partnership.
  • Present HTM performance data to site leadership and committees to drive quality improvements.
  • Develop and/or recommend operating and capital budgets; control expenditures within approved objectives.
  • Serve as SME in Imaging capital equipment procurement and data accuracy for capital replacement planning.
  • Provide feedback on external service vendor performance and equipment standards.
  • Regularly round with local leaders to assess service state and adjust actions.
  • Adhere to Code of Ethical Conduct and ensure compliant actions by self and supervisees.
  • Select, coach, and develop teams; set expectations and manage performance with feedback and progressive discipline when needed.
  • Mentor and develop personnel; familiar with Computer Maintenance & Management Systems.
Key requirements
  • 5 years of Clinical Engineering experience (including support of fixed and portable imaging)
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in related areas
  • Self-directed with strong decision-making abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and priority management skills
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and other business software
  • Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and orderliness
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Experience leading and facilitating group meetings and projects
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Calm, professional demeanor under pressure and effective crisis management
  • Sound judgment in difficult circumstances
  • Experience mentoring and developing people
