Overview In this role you will design, govern, and oversee the architecture of supply chain systems with a focus on distribution, logistics, planning, and manufacturing. You will lead integration across ERP, WMS, TMS, MES, and APS, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. You will mentor teams and drive modernization to boost efficiency, while staying current with emerging supply chain tech. Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end supply chain technology architectures for distribution, logistics, planning, and manufacturing systems
- Develop and maintain integration strategies between ERP, WMS, TMS, MES, APS, and other supply chain apps
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT, and vendors to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Define and enforce architectural standards, governance, and best practices for integrations
- Assess tech landscapes and recommend modernization to optimize performance
- Provide technical leadership during design, development, testing, and deployment phases
- Evaluate and select middleware, API management platforms, and integration tools
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing system performance and proposing enhancements
- Mentor junior architects, developers, and technical teams on architecture and integration best practices
- Stay current with emerging supply chain technologies and integration trends
Key requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain technology architecture or related IT architecture roles
- Proven expertise in distribution, planning (APS/ERP), and manufacturing technology
- Strong background in integration architecture (middleware, ESB, APIs, EDI, cloud integrations)
- Familiarity with SAP, Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, Vertique, e80, ASRS
- Hands-on design experience using APIs, microservices, and data integration tools
- Ability to guide development teams and drive adoption of cloud, automation, and integration patterns
- Oversee system integration and evaluate new technologies to optimize the supply chain
- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and their tech dependencies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid integration is a plus
- Relevant certifications in architecture (TOGAF, AWS) and/or supply chain technologies preferred
