Overview As Sales/Estimator at Precision Walls, you drive project opportunities from initial contact through final bid, combining customer service with technical estimating. You will interpret drawings, prepare feasibility studies, and communicate with architects, engineers, and clients to win contracts. Responsibilities- Communicate effectively as part of a team and apply sales and negotiation techniques
- Develop and deliver presentations
- Prepare building estimates and feasibility studies
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Maintain technical knowledge of building components and their function
- Understand building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements
- Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Provide technical guidance to architects, structural engineers, and contractors
- Know operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms
- Organize resources and establish priorities
- Know federal, state, and local building codes and regulations
- Negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
- Make complex operating, administrative, and procedural decisions
- Know procurement rules and regulations
- Assess contract compliance and product/service quality
- Understand budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management
- Other duties as assigned
