Overview

As Brand Writer at Persona, you will help shape and articulate our identity-focused narratives across channels, from websites to campaigns and internal comms. You'll partner with design, content marketing, and GTM teams to translate complex topics like identity, compliance, and security into clear, engaging stories. With a new brand refresh underway, you'll help define and grow our voice, ensuring consistency across audiences including customers, developers, candidates, and employees. This role offers the chance to influence how Persona's mission is communicated at scale and across global markets.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with brand designers and cross-functional teams to develop concepts and execute brand narratives across websites, campaigns, product launches, events, and internal communications
  • Translate technically dense subjects (identity, fraud, compliance, security) into accessible, engaging storytelling for non-experts
  • Collaborate with GTM teams to refine Persona's brand voice for diverse audiences (customers, end-users, developers, candidates, employees)
  • Evolve voice and tone by creating practical guidelines learned from shipped work
  • Provide feedback to improve writing quality across company partners and step in to drive impact when opportunities arise
  • Identify unaddressed writing opportunities and formats to expand the brand's storytelling
  • Foster a culture of feedback and collaboration among designers, partners, and executives
Key requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with a portfolio showing evolution from brief to concept to final piece
  • Ability to write with personality and perspective on serious topics while maintaining credibility
  • Experience writing for multiple mediums and audiences with adaptable voice
  • Experience shaping brand voice rather than inheriting a finished one
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with designers, marketing, PMM, and operations
