Overview In this role you will deliver on-site field service for Roche diagnostic and therapeutic products, performing installation, repair and preventative maintenance while supporting lab customers across the Tampa region. You will diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and network issues, documenting activities and driving customer satisfaction. This position combines technical mastery with customer-facing responsibility, requiring travel up to 55% and after-hours availability. Responsibilities- Travel to customer sites for installation, repair and maintenance of Roche products
- Provide on-site technical support and diagnose system failures
- Perform preventative maintenance and document service activities
- Serve as primary customer contact for technical/service issues
- Contribute to quality improvements and aim to maximize customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hardware, software, and networking aspects of products
Key requirements- High school diploma
- 2 years technical school or equivalent military training or work experience
- 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking
- Alternatively, Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience
- Successful completion of RD Services training and policy
- Ability to travel, including overnight travel
- Strong customer relationship skills
