Overview In this role you provide synthetic chemistry support for small molecule drug discovery, designing and characterizing organic compounds and maintaining rigorous documentation. You will work with Principal Investigators, contribute to progress reports and publications, and develop new instrumental techniques. Responsibilities- Provide technical support to Principal Investigators in projects
- Design, synthesize, purify, and fully characterize organic molecules
- Compile data for compound analyses and maintain E notebooks
- Contribute to progress reports, publications, and patents from project data
- Operate and maintain scientific equipment and learn new instrumental techniques
- Maintain clean notebooks with detailed procedures and analytical data
- Collect and interpret analytical, ADME, and PK data with limited supervision
- Attend and present regular progress updates for assigned projects
Key requirements- BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry or related discipline with relevant organic synthesis experience
- Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry
- Advanced knowledge of synthesis-related equipment, procedures, and analysis methods
- Proficiency in ChemDraw, MestReNova, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
