Overview In this role you will support SEM site supplier quality by partnering with production teams to verify in-process quality and adherence to procedures. You will drive issue resolution with AIS stakeholders and manage non-conformances through rework and MRB processes. You'll train operators on quality requirements and analyze processes to reduce variation and improve task efficiency. You'll collaborate with SEM Process and SEM Quality Engineers on CAPA activities and oversee customer returns through the RMA workflow, tracking performance metrics and ensuring timely closure.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with production supervisors and workers for real-time inspection points
- Drive closure with AIS stakeholders during assembly questions
- Verify worker compliance with manufacturing procedures
- Monitor non-conforming product handling (rework plan, MRB)
- Lead quality product training with operators
- Evaluate processes for optimization and mistake-proofing
- Engage with SEM Process and SEM Quality Engineers on CAPA reports
- Oversee SEM RMA process for customer returns
- Maintain RMA Tracking Log
- Monitor RMA Turn-Around-Time (TAT) metric
Key requirements- Minimum of 6 years hands-on with product quality control in manufacturing
- Proficiency with Quality Management System (e.g., ISO-9001)
- Effective root cause analysis skills
