Overview In this role you will lead the financial operations of a manufacturing business, guiding accounting, reporting, and financial analysis to support sound business decisions. You will drive month /quarter /year end closes, budgeting and cash planning, and cost accounting to improve margins and visibility. You will collaborate across functions to optimize systems, data integrity, and internal controls while mentoring the accounting team. Responsibilities- Direct day-to-day accounting activities across the general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory records
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles with accurate, on-time reporting
- Produce financial statements and management reports; assess trends, risks, and opportunities
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, and broad financial analysis for operations and strategy
- Oversee cost accounting activities including product costing, inventory valuation, and margin review
- Manage audit preparation, support tax reporting responsibilities, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and external consultants to resolve system/configuration issues and improve data integrity and workflows
- Correct and reconcile records impacted by prior errors; strengthen controls and mentor the accounting team
