Overview As Technical Manager for the EW Program, you will lead engineering teams and drive technical excellence to meet program goals. You'll align engineering activities with business objectives, manage resources, and guide risk-informed execution. You'll work with cross-functional stakeholders to shape system-level design and ensure successful delivery of advanced electronics. This role offers hands-on leadership, strategic influence, and opportunities to apply innovative methods in defense technology.

Responsibilities- select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient function
- lead technical activities affecting proposal, system and detail design, and manufacture of advanced electronics
- plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and equipment for testing and evaluation
- supervise at least two individuals and liaise between project management, planning, and line management
- review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare reports
- develop risk mitigation plans and monitor project progress with stakeholders
- lead small strategic tasks or projects to achieve technical goals
- provide input to link task strategy with business goals
- plan and execute small projects within larger programs
- ensure completion of engineering tasks within budget and schedule
- direct and coordinate engineering tasks with authority over area of responsibility
- identify technical and organizational risks and address them
- participate in program and teaming strategies and executable project plans
- direct team members to follow guidelines and perform workload planning and scheduling
- drive continuous improvement across the group and processes
- provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years supervising experience or Master's degree with 3+ years experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance obtainable post-hire; U.S. citizenship required
- strong project leadership and cost/schedule management knowledge (SPI/CPI, Earned Value, CAM, SPC)
- ability to lead experienced engineers and technicians and communicate effectively
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
