Overview In this role you shape how Azure guidance reaches practitioners by turning framework content into practical, end to end materials. You'll own the content layer above source documents and host a premier Azure technical video series, engaging developers and business decision makers. You work hands on with SMEs and engineers to craft deep technical content and lead cross functional campaigns that drive adoption. You'll shape the portfolio's direction and ensure impactful, measurable results that scale.
Responsibilities- Own the marketing strategy for Microsoft's authoritative Azure guidance, turning framework content into actionable material for engineers and architects
- Write and co-author long-form technical content (ebooks, technical papers, blogs, narrative overviews) above the source documentation
- Host and produce the flagship Azure technical video series, recruiting SMEs and leading on camera discussions without a script
- Direct PMs, SMEs, and production partners in a multi part technical masterclass series and ensure material reaches the right audience
- Design and run mid funnel campaigns to move a technical audience from awareness to action across owned channels, community, social, and field motions
- Land guidance through integrated marketing, customer success teams, technical workshops, and partner channels
- Own the public web presence for Azure guidance and monitor metrics for usefulness and discoverability
- Shape in product and agent driven guidance experiences with engineering and product teams and maintain a prioritized backlog linking customer tasks to sources
- Manage lifecycle communications for published guidance (deprecation, end of life, archiving)
- Coordinate messaging with adjacent product marketing teams to maintain portfolio consistency
- Brief and prepare external speakers who represent this guidance
- Define and track the portfolio's measurement plan (video, livestream, engagement, referrals, product usage signals)
Key requirements- 3+ years in technical product marketing, developer marketing, technical content, or related discipline with a Master's degree OR 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree
- Experience writing in-depth technical content for practitioner/architect audiences
- Experience presenting technical content on camera or stage (video series, livestream, conference, webinar)
- Hands-on familiarity with cloud architecture and deploying/operating workloads on a major cloud platform
- Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its guidance (Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, Azure Architecture Center)
- Working knowledge of building and operating AI agents in production (landing zone design, agent operations, security/observability, cost management)
- Experience running integrated marketing campaigns for a technical audience with measurable results
- Experience directing vendors, PMs, or production partners within defined scope and budget
- Ability to influence across organizational boundaries to deliver cross team work
