Overview In this role you support a high-profile technology project in Northern Louisiana by producing and validating cost analyses, forecasts, and audit-ready reports. You will collaborate with project engineers and the senior cost team to ensure accurate budgeting and project controls across field and office teams. You drive risk assessment, monitor cash flow, and help translate contract terms into actionable cost insights. Responsibilities- Assess project financial risks and outline mitigation plans
- Compile and audit cost reports (BARs, CABs) and provide interpretive analyses
- Ensure ledger postings align with project costs and contract requirements
- Audit budgets for accuracy and drive corrections as needed
- Analyze current budgets, reserves, and unboughts
- Forecast General Conditions, General Requirements, staff and labor costs; re-forecast as conditions change
- Participate in Operations Review Meetings with senior management
- Maintain knowledge of contract documents and their relation to estimates
- Train new Costs Analysts and project staff
- Visit jobsites to review progress and inform project management
- Coordinate between Accounting and field teams; monitor cash position and payments
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 5 years of related experience
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Financial systems proficiency and advanced MS Excel
- Self-starter with minimal supervision in dynamic environments
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and recommend solutions
- Proven leadership and teamwork, with solid written and verbal communication skills
