Responsibilities- Lead month-end close processes and variance reporting
- Develop and maintain financial reporting for internal management
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Support annual internal and external audits
- Implement and monitor SOX internal controls
- Design effective, efficient controls
- Mentor and train staff; build cross-training opportunities
- Set annual goals and strategic objectives; foster collaboration across departments
- Support process standardization and financial analysis initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve strategic objectives
Key requirements- BA/BS in Accounting or related field; seven+ years in accounting/financial reporting; five+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with executive management
- Proficiency in GAAP and financial processes; experience with automated accounting systems
