Overview

In this role you guide complex data center construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, aligning design, budget, and schedule with client goals. You will lead cross-functional coordination, drive field execution, and ensure quality and compliance across multiple sites. The position sits within AECOM's project management discipline, contributing to transformative infrastructure delivered at scale. The role offers exposure to high-impact projects and opportunities to shape next-generation facilities in a global firm.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all activities of assigned projects across pre-construction, design, construction phasing, closeout, occupancy and warranty for multiple projects
  • Coordinate construction activities with clients, vendors and stakeholders
  • Understand scheduling milestones and basic construction means/methods; plan and organize reports
  • Provide technical direction and ensure adherence to design, budget, schedule and quality
  • Coordinate with General Contractor on tests, inspections and report delivery
  • Review punch lists, ensure completion prior to substantial completion, and support owner
  • Monitor progress, process field documentation (RFI/submittals), provide engineering support
  • Coordinate project documentation with Project Controls and review pay applications
  • Review off-site materials documentation and insure insurances/bill of sale for pay apps
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate with contractor on required meetings
  • Manage documentation and approvals for pay applications and owner support
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 8 years of experience or equivalent
  • Experience in construction project management
