Overview In this role, you support the Hedge Fund Accounting team by validating data, maintaining complex fund records, and driving process improvements. You will prepare and review system-generated reports, assist with client communications, and help optimize workflows to reduce risk and increase efficiency. The position sits in Lake Mary, FL with a four-day in-office expectation and offers growth within a globally recognized financial services firm. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate accounting and insightful reporting.

Responsibilities- Review data and help resolve escalated issues in daily, weekly, or monthly accounting and reporting
- Track data and maintain accounting records for higher-complexity funds
- Establish data maintenance and summarization processes to improve team efficiency
- Lead the team in preparing system-generated reports, coordinate review, and share with accounting teams
- Review junior team members' work
- Maintain client relationships and exchange information on cash, accounting, and reporting
- Communicate data needs and respond to client questions
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve efficiency
- Support achievement of team objectives
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of total work experience preferred, with accounting support experience preferred
- No direct reports but potential for lead responsibilities
