Responsibilities- Design and implement electrical systems for hyper-scale data centers, including medium/low-voltage power distribution, backup power, and emergency systems
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, BOMs, and installation drawings
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and other standards
- Collaborate to develop specifications, design criteria, and project budgets
- Analyze systems for load balance, capacity planning, and energy optimization
- Monitor, test, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Develop electrical safety procedures and technician training
- Stay current with advances in data center tech and propose improvements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid-level engineers
- Approve and sign-off on project work as Engineer of Record
- Estimate engineering budget and schedule for large, complex projects
- Lead technical client relationships and contribute to business development
Key requirements- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience in data center infrastructure
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Experience in electrical design for data centers or critical facilities
- Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA70) and relevant standards
