Overview In this role you drive strategic communications to elevate CLIENT Foundation research and impact. You serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, translating complex research into engaging narratives and scalable plans. You'll coordinate across research, programs, marketing, and vendors to build thought leadership platforms and consistent messaging. You help shape cross-functional processes and measurement to grow influence and advance the Foundation's priorities.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote thought leadership dissemination (10-12 yearly).
- Create integrated communication strategies to boost awareness, engagement, and influence among key audiences.
- Develop messaging architectures and storytelling frameworks translating research and policy into clear, audience-specific communications.
- Align Foundation and enterprise stakeholders; convene cross-functional teams to improve processes and execution.
- Create communications playbooks, frameworks, and measurement approaches for consistency and scalability across dissemination, marketing, and reputation initiatives.
Key requirements- 8-10+ years in strategic communications, thought leadership, public affairs, research communications, content strategy, or related field.
- Proven success translating complex research, data, public policy, or social impact into compelling communications.
- Exceptional writing, messaging, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with nonprofit, philanthropy, advocacy, public affairs, research, or mission-driven organizations preferred.
- Familiarity with audience engagement, reputation management, media relations, executive communications, and content strategy.
- Bachelor's degree required
