Overview In this role you will serve as a key member of Axon's contracts and corporate team, advising global sales and cross-functional partners on transactional matters and risk. You'll shape scalable contracting processes, supervise Contracts Managers, and help implement a contract lifecycle system. The position supports growth while upholding compliance and the company's mission to protect life. You'll collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to deliver practical legal solutions that enable the business to scale.

Responsibilities- Structure, review and negotiate contracts for goods, services and SaaS solutions
- Supervise Contracts Managers and set risk thresholds
- Develop and maintain contract templates, analyses and policies
- Lead implementation/optimization of contract lifecycle management system
- Provide regulatory compliance and other legal guidance as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale contracting support
Key requirements- Minimum 3 years of in-house experience negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS, hardware and services contracts
- Experience negotiating international agreements
- J.D. and bar admission in good standing (US)
- Ability to manage high workload with urgency
- Experience with AI-enabled process automation is a plus
- Experience with government procurement laws is a plus
