Overview In this role you will manage SAP Basis operations with expertise across ABAP and JAVA stacks. You will support S/4 HANA migrations, administration, and system upgrades, while troubleshooting performance and memory issues. The position emphasizes independent issue handling, client-facing communication, and cross-team collaboration to ensure reliable 24/5 support. The role involves Linux administration, system copies, and kernel and support pack upgrades, with exposure to SAP BTP and SolMan 7.2 features. This is a hands-on role for a technically versatile professional who can drive stable, scalable SAP landscapes.
Responsibilities- Attend customer calls and provide strong client-facing support
- Manage SAP Basis operations across ABAP and JAVA stacks
- Support S/4 HANA migrations and administration
- Perform upgrades (ABAP & JAVA, kernel, support packs) and memory troubleshooting
- Linux administration and system copy
- Leverage SAP BTP, cloud connectors, and SolMan 7.2 features
- Handle issues independently with minimal supervision
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend support
Key requirements- Experience in SAP Basis with ABAP and JAVA stacks
- Knowledge of S/4 HANA migration/administration
- Troubleshooting and memory tuning skills
- Experience in system upgrades and kernel upgrades
- Linux administration experience
- Familiarity with ERP/Enterprise portals (added advantage)
- Knowledge of Charm, managed system configuration, and SolMan 7.2 features
