Responsibilities- Develop strong working relationships with clients and staff while maintaining high project standards and meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Perform drainage design and production for Transportation projects including calculations and plans preparation
- Work under the direction of senior staff to develop plans and calculations for Transportation projects
- Understand applicable policies, methods, practices, and procedures of drainage design
- Assist in the design of collection and conveyance systems for Transportation projects
- Assist in design of stormwater management facilities to meet water quality and quantity requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline and 6 years of experience as a Drainage Engineer or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience performing engineering analysis for drainage design associated with Transportation projects
- State of Florida - Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience in design of drainage conveyance systems and plans prepared in compliance with FDOT standards
- Experience in pond design
- Experience in the following software: OpenRoads, or other equivalent CAD software, HY-8, ICPR, and MS Office
