Overview In this role you drive power and performance analysis for Intel's unlaunched notebook and desktop products. You will shape estimates and projections, support cross-functional teams, and help communicate value to OEMs and marketing. You'll debug and optimize workloads, collaborate with architects, and publish PPG collateral. The position combines hands-on measurement with strategic guidance to influence product launches and performance positioning.

Responsibilities- Measure, analyze, and debug workloads to identify power/performance gaps and coordinate resolution with engineering teams
- Quantify SoC/CPU and platform power at rail level and address issues/gaps
- Ensure consensus on power/performance projections for internal and external communications
- Educate and influence internal engineering, field accounts, and marketing on power/performance positioning
- Create power and performance estimates for upcoming Intel products to inform marketing decisions and KPI targets
- Own publication of the Power Performance Guide (PPG) collateral for OEM guidance
- Bring up full test platform for power and performance measurements including setup, calibration, and measurements
Key requirements- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ years of experience in a post-silicon environment or system architecture/CPU micro-architecture or system engineering
