Overview

Join AECOM's data center construction program and help deliver complex, cutting-edge facilities. You will lead on-site construction activities across pre-construction through closeout, coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure design, budget, schedule and quality targets are met. You'll work with cross-functional teams to manage tests, inspections, documentation, and pay approvals, driving project performance. This role offers exposure to high-impact data center projects and opportunities to grow within a global engineering leader.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all activities on assigned projects from pre-construction to occupancy and warranty enforcement
  • Coordinate construction activities with clients, vendors and stakeholders
  • Understand scheduling milestones and construction means/methods; monitor progress
  • Prepare and review reports, logs, and documentation from multiple project teams
  • Provide technical direction and ensure conformance with design, budget, schedule, and quality
  • Coordinate with General Contractor on tests, inspections, and reports delivery
  • Review punch lists and certify substantial completion readiness
  • Support project controls in cost and schedule reviews; approve pay applications
  • Document material condition, insurances, and bill of sale for pay review
  • Participate in technical evaluations for A/E, GC and vendor selection
  • Monitor budget and perform cost tracking
Key requirements
  • BA/BS plus 8 years of experience or equivalent
  • 10 years of on-site construction experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field (preferred)
  • On-site construction management exposure
