Overview As the US Construction Risk Manager, you will lead risk management across Micron's major US construction programs, protecting cost, schedule, safety, and quality outcomes. You will drive a risk-informed culture, provide executive-level insights, and partner with engineering, construction, procurement, safety, and operations to mitigate program risk. You'll improve the risk framework, own the program risk register, and support decision making for multi-site capital projects. This is a chance to shape risk practices at scale as Micron expands manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities- Lead and continuously improve the construction risk management framework including governance, risk identification, escalation, and reporting
- Own the program risk register with quantified, tracked risks and closure management
- Perform quantitative schedule and cost risk analyses (Monte Carlo), contingency planning and forecast development
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies with project teams, contractors, procurement, and stakeholders
- Deliver executive-level risk reporting and facilitate cross-functional risk reviews for informed decision making
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in construction project controls, construction management, or capital project risk management with a formal risk program
- Experience on large-scale capital construction projects valued at $1B+ in industrial/semi/construction environments
- Strong expertise in quantitative risk analysis including Monte Carlo schedule and cost simulations, contingency development, and risk forecasting
- Working knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, project schedules, OSHA standards, and AI tools such as Copilot or similar
