Overview As Associate Director I manage the Field Medical Affairs team within Reproductive Medicine, driving strategic MSL initiatives and scientific exchange to advance our therapies. You will shape the MSL strategy, develop TL engagement plans, and ensure alignment with Medical Affairs objectives. This role partners with cross-functional teams to integrate medical insights into broader goals, while coaching the team to excel in scientific leadership and compliant field activity. You'll operate at the intersection of science, strategy, and people leadership to expand therapy utilization and impact patient care.
Responsibilities- Direct and develop the MSL team within assigned therapeutic areas, setting goals and monitoring performance
- Coach, train, and manage MSLs to ensure scientific excellence and compliance with policies
- Plan and manage territory budgeting and expense adherence
- Develop and execute the MSL strategy and action plan in the TA
- Lead TL advocacy through KOL engagement, advisory boards, and congress participation
- Identify opportunities for scientific growth including medical education and investigator-initiated research
- Identify training needs and implement field medical training plans for new and existing MSLs
- Track KPIs and provide insights to Medical Affairs leadership
- Monitor competitive data and clinical developments to inform strategy
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Commercial, and HEOR to align medical strategies
- Maintain and update LMR-approved medical slide decks for communications
- Support clinical trial site identification and enrollment strategies
