Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Cardiology
Join a reputable healthcare facility located in Fairfield, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients. As part of a collaborative team, you will work within a hospital-based and clinic setting, contributing to the health and well-being of the community. This position offers a schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM, with in-house and beeper call coverage required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cardiovascular patient care, focusing on electrophysiology.
- Engage in procedures including ablations, pacers, ICDs, and BiVs.
- Manage an average patient load of 4-5 patients per day.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize the Epic electronic medical records system for documentation.
- Participate in call coverage with a ratio of 9 weekends per year.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Electrophysiology (REQUIRED)
- Ohio medical license (Preferred)
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (REQUIRED)
- Active DEA registration (REQUIRED)
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience (REQUIRED)
- Completion of fellowship training (REQUIRED)
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Board Certification in Electrophysiology
- Ohio medical license - preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
