Cardiology Electrophysiologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of physician experience required
- Board certification in electrophysiology required
- Completion of an applicable electrophysiology fellowship required
- Valid Ohio physician license preferred
- Active DEA registration required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to complete credentialing and provide a clean, complete application file
Electrophysiology Physician Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric patients in inpatient and outpatient cardiac care settings.
- Provide electrophysiology consultations and ongoing cardiovascular care.
- Perform and manage ablations, pacemaker procedures, ICD procedures, and biventricular device procedures.
- Provide scheduled daytime coverage from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Participate in in-house and beeper/phone call coverage, including weekend call.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and care coordination in Epic.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other members of the cardiovascular care team.
