Medical Office Assistant

Join a high-volume fertility clinic as a Medical Office Assistant, where you'll create a warm and supportive experience for patients. You'll work in a compassionate environment focused on patient-centered care, and collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients efficiently while ensuring a supportive experience.
  • Obtain and accurately document vital signs, both manually and electronically, in the EMR.
  • Perform precise phlebotomy, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to clinical protocols.
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups, coordinating care to maintain smooth clinic flow.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
  • Ensure exam rooms and clinical spaces are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to deliver a seamless, patient-centered experience.
Essential Skills
  • Medical assistant experience
  • Administrative support skills
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • BLS certification
  • Venipuncture and specimen collection expertise
  • Experience with straight needle and butterfly techniques
  • Patient care and medical assisting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and technology proficiency
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • MA Cert and/or CPT certifications preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems or ability to quickly learn
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach

  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills

Work Environment

The clinic is located in Denver, CO, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM. Weekend rotation is required, working 1-2 weekends per month, with two weekdays off during those weeks. Holiday rotation is required a few times a year. The clinic provides clean, branded scrubs daily, with laundry service available, and lockers for personal items (bring your own lock). There is no free on-site parking; employees are responsible for their own parking expenses. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
