Special Education Paraprofessional

The Special Education Paraprofessional works under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher to support students with disabilities. This role assists with instructional activities, accommodations, behavioral support, and daily student needs.

• Assist students in meeting academic and behavioral goals.
• Implement accommodations and modifications outlined in IEPs.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support.
• Assist with behavior intervention strategies.
• Support students with personal care needs when required.
• Document student progress and communicate with educational staff.
