Assoc Sample CoordinatorOur client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and laboratory support industry, is seeking an Assoc Sample Coordinator to join their team. As an Assoc Sample Coordinator, you will be part of the Sample Management department supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Covington, KY
Pay Range: $18 - $20.70
Shift: Tues-Sat 8am-4:30pm, Tues-Sat 4pm-12:30am, Wed-Sun 12am-8:30am
What's the Job?
- Perform inventory tracking procedures including receipt, check-in, labeling, and transport of samples and standards
- Support laboratory operations by executing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate documentation
- Communicate task status effectively to supervisors and team members
- Train on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements to ensure compliance
- Assist in responding to environmental alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant academic or vocational qualifications
- Previous experience or equivalent training in laboratory support or inventory management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
